Who is responsible
The Verdeon legal entity named in the relevant vacancy will be responsible for handling that application. The office addresses below are recruitment contact locations; they do not identify the employing legal entity or establish its registered office. The final notice will identify the responsible entity for each vacancy before an applicant submits information.

Information used for an initial application
For an initial application, Verdeon uses the vacancy selected, the applicant’s name and contact details supplied in the email, a CV, and an optional cover letter or professional portfolio link. A vacancy may call for narrowly tailored information about qualifications, licences or work eligibility where relevant to that role.
Please do not include a Social Security or national insurance number, date of birth, identity-document copy, bank details, health information, or information about family members in an application or attachment. These are not needed to assess an application. If additional checks become appropriate later, Verdeon will provide separate information and a secure process.
Why we use application information
Application information is used to assess qualifications for the selected role, communicate about interviews and outcomes, administer the recruitment process, and meet applicable legal obligations. Verdeon will not use applicant data for unrelated marketing or add candidates to a future-opportunities list without a separate, informed choice.
Who may receive it
Applicants may currently send CVs and optional cover letters to Verdeon’s recruitment mailbox, careers@verdeon.energy. Access is intended to be limited to personnel involved in recruitment and the relevant hiring decision. The email and hosting providers may process information to deliver and support the service. Internal Telegram alerts, if enabled, will contain only vacancy and application reference numbers—not a candidate’s identity, contact details or documents.
If a later-stage background or identity check is needed, it will be handled separately. Candidates will be told what is checked, by whom, and on what basis, and will be asked for any required authorization. Identity documents will not be requested through the public application form, ordinary email or Telegram.
How long information is kept
Application materials will be kept while the application is under consideration and through the close-out of the recruitment process. After that, CVs, cover letters and routine correspondence will be deleted unless a defined legal recordkeeping obligation, complaint, or legal hold requires limited retention. Any retained records will be access-restricted and deleted when that reason ends. Verdeon will not retain unsuccessful applications for future vacancies by default.
Application records generally must be kept at least one year; UK records should not be held longer than needed, and France requires recruitment data to be limited to what’s necessary. Records relevant to a complaint, claim or legal hold may need to be kept longer where applicable law requires it. Access to retained records will be restricted, and they will be deleted when the retention reason ends.
Security and international handling
Initial applications are sent by the applicant to the dedicated recruitment mailbox. Access is intended to be limited to personnel involved in recruitment and the relevant hiring decision. Verdeon will maintain appropriate mailbox access controls and document deletion and incident-response procedures. Any future online application service will be assessed and documented before it is introduced.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to or correction or deletion of your information, object to or restrict some processing, and raise a concern with your privacy regulator. Once published, this notice will provide the responsible entity’s contact details and explain how to exercise those rights.
Background checks
A background check is not part of the initial application. If Verdeon considers a check for a shortlisted candidate, it will be relevant to the role and local law. Where a third-party report is used, separate disclosures and authorization will be provided where required, along with any applicable rights and decision notices.
